perfectly, no oil or gas leaks or loose fittings which is also rather unusual. Our flight chief was surely proud so it must have been satisfactory. I think I'll pack my bags tonight and get all ready to go. We are to wear our O.D. uniforms with a light shirt. We won't need our mess kits but do need knife, fork & spoon & cup so we must be going troop train and use paper plates. Our trip will probably take us about 36 hours I expect it will be tiresome and dull I think we will leave tomorrow night or Monday morning early but this is guessing. We turned in our pillow cases and mattress covers this morning. We haven't had sheets out here and only the one pillow case and cover. They were sure dirty. I've Irish washed mine and hung them out to air occasionally but it was kind of like Dad's old joke of running the kids into their underwear in the fall
