Went to [Maxwells?] before breakfast to get Deed.  Made out [check?] Writing school before dark.

Cut wood. writing school 8 o'clock p.m. [Sedge? Lodge?] in evening. Election & installation of Officers etc.

Dr. here. Hannah,  Seanna and Mary. Elmer went to H. Pecks. Hannah stayed up there. we got home at 4 o'clock. quite cold. went to meeting in evening.

went to Butler Centre. Paid Taxes $102.95. rode Lady Dell. got home 4 P.M.

Went to Cedar Falls to Mill. Dr. Goodhue here. Snowed at home 2 P.M. Another Sheep got into the Spring.

Wednesday 15th  
[Bolton? Burton?] here eveming. Snowed all day. took Seanna to School. drew 2 logs for wood. Maxwell's Auction. To Writing School in evening.
