Snow about 1 foot deep. writing school at 5 P. M. C. Crosby [illegible] here in evening. -------------------------------------------------------------- Friday February 17th Took Seanna to School. Livingstons had Lady Dell again today. drew logs. [bookprint: WEDNESDAY 10] [handwritten:] Saturday February 18th 1865 Gilbert helped me draw wood till 10 A.M. he rode the old Mare over to [porsen?] Eugene & C. Crosby had half team to go in [Grundy?] Townsend here. Went to Writing School at [2? 9?] P.M. Old white cow [away?] off to calve. Seanna and [I?] Went to [bookprint: [crossout]THURSDAY 11[/crossout]] [handwritten:] Lecture in Evening. Sunday February 19, 1865 Took Mary Elmer home. she was here 4 weeks. Aunt Susan came home with me. Monday February 20th Eugene Took C. Crosby & Gilbert to the [cart?]. got home at 1 1/2 P.M. [Alesso?] here. ground ax.
