New Hartford Tues Feb. 21st 1865 it rained last night Seanna got a letter from George went after Seanna to night in the sleigh {Wed 22 Took 3 buggy wheels to blacksmith. very icy most around by Seanna school (illegible for several lines) had to wade the creek coming home it was still very very full. Thu Feb 23 The river quite high. (illegible for several lines) went after Seanna. We spent evening at Hammonds. Friday Feb 24th 1865 agnother Sheep larned? cleaned out Stables Finished feeding the unhusked corn. played checkers in the evening Sat 25 a bed till 2 P.M Dr. Goodhue here. we had a heavy snow storm.
