Mon. Mar. 6th, 1865 Took Aunt Susan. Mr. More & Laura to the cars with sleigh Bot. New ax got My photograph taken. Election of School Directors come off C.. Ensign got 17 votes and E. S. Maxwell 10 Tues. 7th Did not get up till after 8 oclock. quit cool 555 Wed. March 8th, 1865 another sheep lamed. Lewis Hammond here to trade steers for my old mare took the old mare down there, She would not trade as he offered no trade. Townsend left Laura's shoes here. Snowed this P.M.P.M.
