New Hartford 1865 Wednesday March 22d/65 Water falling some Grady's folks went over in boat S. Taylor looked at pony Thu. 23d Rode over to town with Orin Shaw. water most to the top of wagon Sundsay's wife here visiting she wants to trade 40 acres land for my old mare Friday Mar 24 Went after corn, got 5 bush of Sanford Peck @ 40 cts. Pd. him $1.00 D. Royced took up his $10.00 note buy 5 dollars in on it. Sat 25 Went to C. Ensigns to see Barnard hay (?) found he had sole it Pa & I went to the A. P. Association come home by J. Boltons to get Hannah's box went to G. T. in the evening
