New Hartford 1865 Sun March 26th Pa and Hannah went to Esther's. I went to church Eld. Orcutt Preached Funeral of Powells child Mon 27. Rained all day. I read in Continental [illegible] Tues - went to (Br--acks?) I got 10 bush corn @ $4.00 Wed 29 Worked on the road L. Hammond Sup. Bought bag of mullet $10.50 Thurs 30 I rode to C. Falls with R. Overacker got my photographs (Miller?) got 300 ft lumber $5.00 Friday March 31st. 1865 Drew the hogs that I bought of Miller from C. Ensign's Eld. Tracy here to dinner agreed to do saw timber for him 1 sheep are smothered under straw went to Town in the eve
