New Hartford 1865 Mon. April 10 bought 10 bush. corn of Mrs. Beaumack 40 cts. and 1/2 Ton hay $3.00 per Ton went twice forgot my coat News of Lees Surrender to Gen. Grant. Tuesday Apr. 11 It rained all day Mrs Hare and the Girls here visiting. Wed. 12 Went to Cosbrights to get buggy Rep. and took Haringh & Aunt Carter to Mr. Sandsay visiting, Ms. Clark and Jim here in evening and borrowed $400,00 of Pa Thu. Apr. 13th Went to Braniston and got 1/2 Ton hay. Started sunrise gave him the black dog following me drew 4 Lds. wood. Fri. Apr. 14 picked wood of 2 Dr. Goodhue here his bill 104 Doll. May Division here drew 2 Lds wood
