New Hartford 1865 Thu. April 20 cooler this morning. Nigg Quin here all night. Hannah and I went to Nathan Olmstead's she took their school at $20.00 per month 4 mo. Fri. 21 It snowed last night. I computed the Interest on next yrs notes. Due $25 and wrote Claire a letter Sat. Apr. 22d. went to pay Mr. Williams ten Dollar he not at his farm Bought 10 bush corn of E.S. Maxwell $4.00 attended G. T.S. move using Arthur Boys it returned full Sun. Apr 23 cool & pleasant. The snow of Thursday night not all gone yet, went to Church Orcutt preached, took Hannah up to Esthers. roads very Mon. 24 commenced plowing for oats finished plowing last n
