New Hartford 1865 Sat 6 went after 11 bush corn before breakfast 40 cts Finished sowing and dragging oats went to Lodge Sun May 7 Hannah and I went to S. B. Ensigns from there with them to meeting. Silas preached. went to Henry after meeting Mon May 1865 May 8 Pa took Hannah to school & then went to C Falls and Bought 40 aces of Chapman I made wire fence Tues. 9 Made wire fence near school house Drew water to wash Wed. 18 Fixed wire fence between the bayou & bridge Thu, 19th Fixed fryed corn Dug up some plum trees got train(?) colts for boys [?] below Harmons
