Lagrang Tuesday, July 5, 1864 Relieved from picket guard at 7 1/4 o.clock, and went immediately to camp. [illegible] some flags to put on our [bank?] Eugene Wright sick with fever C. B. Harmon on picket Took his supper out to him but missed dres parade the weather being quite warm Wednesday 6 Drum beat at 1 o clock A.M. affter which we packed up for trip into the country. [illegible] to the depot and took the cars fro Lagrang Tenn [illegible] Thursday 7 Lagrange In Camp at Lagrang Tenn. In line at roll call. detailed on picket with [illegible] Capt. Wilson added 5 extra men to our post at 10. o clock P.M. wrote [illegible]
