Saturday, November 5, 1864 New Hartford rode Seely Dell over to Townsends and helped him snap corn. Chas. Smith started from home Pa. Paid hiar $500 for 2 Ds. work. left Townsends 1 hour before sundown for J. Chapman's heard at nornetete durbe. at Isack Chapman's all night - not coming errect sorrowing easily this morning. Started for home at 10 o'clock a.m. Snowed some ( ) from ( ) 12 o'clock
