[bookprint: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 1864.] [handwritten:] New Hartford Snowed fore noon. Drew 1 sed sand. put in cellar. Drew the old boat out of the creek. Went to see S. [Cowm?] about 1/2 of mill [load? log?]. Gave Mrs. [Cowm?] my blanket for 2 turkeys [bookprint: WEDNESDAY 9] [handwritten:] Took Seanna to School and drew 1 16 foot elm log to Norris mill for [band?] floor plank. [?] It snowed quite hard all day and a great deal drifted into our chamber. [ti?] cows. [bookprint: THURSDAY 10] [handwritten:] [burning?] [Schanpile?] door [?]. [Gerbig?] agreed to help me [Styar?] sled went to the thicket and drew and drew elm log 16 feet to mill. Took [Sangy?] home. Josef Wells came here. Seanna [illegible?]
