MEMORANDA. New Hartford July [underlined]Sat. 29.[/underlined] Looked for my colts. John Thummer saw them pass his hous last night eat Supper at Clarks. at Lodge Sun 30 Looked for colts could not find them Hare's folks & Dan Thummer here P.M. Mon. July 31st 1861 Took Hannah to [A?] church. got my boat up tried the hood for market Tues. August. 1st Took [inserted][unclear][81 or 21?][/unclear][/inserted] Sheep back to [Virgiltoo?] Engol which we divided [inserted]104 lbs are shore[/inserted] Hare not at home. Saw [Engert? or Ungers? or Rogers?] Wed. Aug 2d went to bind wheat for Livingston reap is broke & commenced raining & so I returned Sheep Sheaps [?Shepherds?] found my colts Thu. 3rd bound wheat for Livingston with Mr H Hammond. Emmick came to see me about [helping?] [K? Pack?]
