Dear Aunt Grand Father requires me to write to you I have not much time to write as you know I said we were in a hurry to go to washing but I thought I should drop a few lines Mother has been traveling up your way When she started she thought she would visit you but we received a letter from her & she is some what home sick and says she cannot go she has not yet returned but we are looking for her I have not yet made up my mind about going to Iowa but I think again Spring if mother comes home and all well you will see me up there I want to go very badly I would write more but uncle David & wife have just come in and I must stop My respects & love to uncle Joseph and yourself Your affectionate Neice Emily McDill Martha A. McDill
