Fathers little crop looks verry well he has four acre of corn four of oats & two and half grass I was going to plow for him to day if it had not a rained this morning father was out at my house a Monday he has not been out in over a year he walked out with his dog and gun Mother is to be out a Saturday now concerning your affairs your herbeson note I have not received no word from since you were down the Clendenen note I presented to him and he said it was all right he would pay it your Sythe and cradle I expect James Brown will take So more at this time But still your Brother & well wisher give our respectes to Martha Ann and write soon David A. McDill
