you I think I will wear it. They escorted us to the train with a band and had a great reception at train. The fellows accept the ice cream and other things but am afraid that out side of that they are not so very appreciative.
Well I must tell you about my battle today. I had so many opportunities to drink but I did not touch a drop and so instead of being sick tonight like some others I am feeling fine. As I have said before if it were not for you I do not know what would happen to me. I must confess that I was tempted but every time I saw you and I didn't. I know it will not be a hard game to beat from now on if I have you pulling for me. I dont suppose I ought to bother you with this but I can't keep from telling you about it.
We will go through [Detroit?] some time tomorrow night. I may telegraph [name?] to come down if we get in there in any season at all
