I was not able to take any pictures as it was contrary to orders but I will get some good ones I hope. I met a friend of Ben Websters today here at the club. They have an air raid here ocassionally but the people feel better since the long range gun had been stopped. They are very grateful to Americans for their help. I must also mention the great work that the Red Cross is doing. I know the people who give are giving to the best thing they ever spent any money for. Well Bess I must close for this time and go over to the rooms and get busy bathing etc. With lots of love, Yours, Walter Love to Helen
