I don't believe I will ever get any letters from home and I am so anxious to hear from you and find out how you all are. I never believed that I would so want to get home as I am but then you see I haven't been away from home for such a long time before. I went over to our new home, today and carried back my hand luggage so that I can stay here for a while yet a few days at least. I haven't seen anyone that I know here yet except McGuiers(spelling?). I have seen a good many fellows
