Dear Dad and Mom, I was very lazy this morning I didn't get my letter written before dinner. Got up about nine, showered shaved and cleaned up and monkeyed around till mail call at 11:15 got the papers today. Yesterday I was surprised to get a bashed and battered package at mail call it was covered with [postal?] cancellations such as Fort Dix N.J. Some point of embarkation I couldn't make out, a camp in New York, California, Tuscan Ariz, Salt Lake City, [Wisconsin?] and finally here. It was carefully marked Fragile glass in several places and had a dollar thirty eight cents postage on it. It still didn't dawn on me what it
