Nov. 8, 1942 Pueblo, Colo. Dear Dad & Mom: Just got up at 9 oclock got the barracks cleaned up and went to the P. X for doughnuts & coffee. Got the cookies & candy the sixth and were they good I surely enjoyed them & so did the other guys in the upper bay of our barracks. Thanks a heap. Got your letter yesterday. It surely gets cold here nights those sheep skin lined suits really feel good. They aren't going to be any too warm this winter I believe good wool pants would be just as warm. Last night our planes were grounded after 12 oclock, it was
