Nov. 14, 1942 Pueblo, Colo. Dear Dad & Mom: Today has been pleasant but now 3 P.M. it is clouding up and the wind is blowing a regular gale and it looks as tho we might have a change of weather. Our work is pretty well caught up this afternoon so Ive got time to write a little. This week we got the flag for the most efficient squadron this makes all of us feel good as now we might get some ratings I surely hope so I would like the extra money and wouldnt mind having stripes on my sleeve. Got a nice box of candy from the gang at the lumber yard it surely went good and all of us
