Nov. 21, 1942 Pueblo, Colorado Dear Dad & Mom: Our weather is still cold today, clear but the wind is blowing quite hard. I think it will warm up soon tho, last night I worked all evening and almost froze. you would work outside about 15 minutes then you'd have to run in and warm your hands. For all you accomplish you might as well stay in bed, everytime you grab a wrench your hands almost freeze. Dont think there will be much to do tonight and maybe I can get some sleep. Got your letter with the announcement of Brads wedding in it. I expect it will be quite a swanky affair, hope it is a pleasant day for the ceremony. I don't know what I could get for him just now but I shall at least try and write if I can get his address dont believe I have it. Today a letter came from one of my friends at Sheppard Field. he is an instructor but his papers have gone thru for officers training It was a month old as it had gone out to [illegible] and didnt get back here very soon. Im still
