I took many photos in the town which I hope will turn out good. We came back to a little swiss café and had our lunch with nice music and singing. It was a fine lunch and one to be remembered. Then we took a car electric up past the orange groves and past the picturesque people, by three relays of cars up the immense lava fields to near the top and there we got out and walked up to the brink of the Crater and when the smoke cleared away I gazed down into the most awe inspiring sight I ever have seen. The ret hot lava coming down over the top of the mouth of the [illegible] crater
