see little John. I'm not promising anything and don't be disapointed if any changes are made but [same?] Paps birthday cake for a day or so. It will take lots of time on the train and from the looks of things I wont get much time at home but it will be worth it. Dont depend too much on this but I know how you feel about surprises. Last evening I went to [illegible] to investigate all this, had to stand in line for quite a spell then I went to a show and just barely made it back to the field before my six hour pass ran out. My friend Garner Hays the slim fellow from Indiana you met at Sioux City will ride most of the way with me as well as two or three more friends so I wont be alone on the train. Our oldest ship we've been doing so much work on is flying again and well which makes our crew feel good as we did most of the work on it. Just hope it continues to act well.
