a nuisance to jack about in our barracks bags. We are to be allowed to ship our final [luckers?] from here now that I've had one for a while I don't know why I gamed around in those barracks bags as long as I did. I will try and write to Buck sometime soon I rather suspect he enjoys getting letters and doesn't get too many. Of course he has Lizzie, didn't I tell you I got her box of candy, it was certainly good and I thought that was mighty nice of her. We have a new system now of during maintenance work, no plane is to be in flying [illegible] more than 18 hours per day, it has to be called out of commission for 6 hours to be worked on. We will perform our inspections during this period also. I wonder where Milan is, poor kid I'm afraid he is going to be awfully homesick tho perhaps not, having had a couple of years away from home at college. He is a smart kid hope he gets something he likes. This special service school does not sound good to me. If you take the test they give you and pass it you will be sent to school and as a private, if you don't pass you go to school as a private so it looks like they beat you either way. I may not have to take it so I won't start kicking until it really happens. There is about to be a big rush starting on [flares?] coming in so this all tonight. Love Johnny
