January 20th 1919 My dear Mrs Fox, Your note received & also the news paper article. It is a splendid thought that Dr. Fox made good & that such was recognized by the people for whom he gave up a brilliant future. It will be matter of great pride & comfort to your daughter when she grows up to know the honor her father gave to her name. You mention some small pictures of your husband. I think, if you care to, that one can get enlargements which will probably be more satisfactory than what a photographer can do; and [may?] have a special magnifying apparatus which gives good results. It would be fitting to do so, for your husband worked in the laboratory with happiness & [effort?]: & what more proper, than that his laboratory should try to properly continue his memory, by enlarging a photograph or photographs. Mr [Monet?] has the picture in the [Alumnus?] & also in the Mu Sigma Mu house and also see that you receive same. Very Sincerely, H. J. Prentiss
