Chicago Ill. 6/9 Dear Dad: I rec. your letter this noon and was glad to hear from you. I know you are tired at night and don't feel much like [wrighting?] I have sent four pictures, and can't remember where I sent them, so if I sent one to mama, call Grace up and ask her if she got one and if she did send it to Mayme no it's [eather?] you or Grace that hasen't got one. Because Mayme wanted me to tell her about my uniform, so I sent her one and told her it look it it for her self. I am going to; go on clean up duty in the morning So I gess I can't go to church because I half to stay at the pier for 24 hrs. But I am not going to anything I am going to stay right here and clean up the best I can. We get off Sat. afternoon and
