This pen is no good you know I am a good writer its the pen. Did you write Tom Gilmore a card yet it would please him too and Leo Kellog they are allways asking about you. Our darn dog died the other morning. I dont care so much for the dog Big that "[V?]" I paid for him well Mac thats about all I know this time except "[first name?]" Butcher had a fight with some guy Saturday night Butch licked him. But it was a good fight anyway, well hoping you get along all o.k. From your Loving Brother John "[Maskovitz?]"
