Chicago Ill. 1917 Dear mother, I arrived once more O.K. When I got to Logan the train stoped to pick up some fellow, and, Ruth Pat and King was down so I got an extry kiss and said good bye to all. I met a young lady on the train she was a school teacher and very joly, she was going to Chicago to go to school this summer, so I gave her some of my candy, and fruit. She was the first girl I ever stayed with all night. Ha. Ha. But I kidded her all the way to Chic. There was also a lady sit in front of us that had a couple of little girls, and they thought I was just about it, there mother told me that they loved a solder and I was the first one they ever talked to, So I gave them a orange and they kept me busie ans.
