Chicago Ill June 22, 19,17 Dear Mother, I rec. your letter to-day and one from Grance, Mayme, Mary ann so I made up for last time. We leave here 12 bells Sun. night in a fellow just said that was in the main office al day. There is a bunch of ladies here sowing for us to day. Mary ann said she was going out riding with some guy, she hasen't any thing on me I was out with a nurse last night, she was a very fine girl. She is going to send me a box of candy. My tooth ache is over he got the right one, I am sure glad. We have mass every Sun and the [prease?] heres confessions Sat. Might I think Ill go this Sun. I am on police duty for 24 hrs starting Sat. eve. So I may not get to go but hope I do. You bet Ill take in all the sights and remember them. Ill send back some suveneer. We
