National War Work Council Railroad Department Young Men's Christian Association Headquarters Third Reserve Engineers __________ 1917 Telling me that Scott said the fellow that took my job was dooing much better than I did I wrote the guyes at the "[t?]" shop a letter. I sure told him what I thought about him. I can get a job any time I come back "[illegible]" the other side. Ill never work under him again. If I ever see him again Ill sure tell him what he is. When I left there he said he never had as good a man and when I come back I can have my old job back who ever has it, you can see what a two face old cuss he is. I knew he would say it because he always does about any one who quits. Well dear Mother I have to write my fellow a letter so will close. Your loving Son. With lots of kisses Francis
