Chicago Ill 1917 Dear Mother. I rec. your letter when I came from the Dentist. Oh yes I had another tooth pulled this morning. I never [sleeped?] very much last night so I went up and hand another one pulled. I got off at [illegible] untill 200 so after I stoped the tooth ache I went to a show, and then went down on market St. to watch the [bussiess?] They had wagon for six blocks backed up to the stores. And now I feel fine. We might leave here before the 26th we are not drilling this afternoon, getting all of our equipment ready. John Nelson just asked me to take a walk to Lincoln Park this eve. So I think I will. When you get those pictures developed send me some and give Mary some. Ill send the money to pay for them when my shop come's in. I think I see it coming now. Last night the ship Rosevelt got stuck on a sand bar just a little ways from the pier. We
