May 28 1918 Dear Sister Eva, Well Eva theres Americans in France England, Russia and Itilia, now watch them go to Germany. I understand you bought a jewel in the watch on the Rhyne, or was it so you bought a Liberty bond [illegible] shares, [excuse?] me I forgot you are not French. It means "just the same." Its getting so you cant beleave a thing, I hear to day was pay day, I also hear Bryan was going to run for President in Germany next year.
