United States Receiving Station Navy Yard Philadelphia, PA. Oct. 26-44 Dear Dave, I just received my first issue of the Scuttlebutt. It is really ok. It is something from home that a fellow can sure look forward to receiving. My only regret is that I failed to hear of it sooner. I know we can all be proud of what you are all doing for us in the service. Right now things are rather quite for me after returning from sea duty. I am waiting for a six wks. course of instruction in the operation of high pressure steam boilers. From what I hear it is to begin Nov. 6 after my
