without paying the postage and i hate that i would rather pay the postage it looks like we wanted to take all your money to pay postage but i will pay it last if i live to come home if you have not seen any of uncle sams money i will send you some when i get my money it is nice money We are camped here at a mill and our men is running it We had some flour today it is not tolled we bake bran and all it makes very good bread you gots go to Norris Store there is where [harmory] blankets is sent you can get them let me know whether you got that [illegible] Sharon if you did get cow or some stock of some kind i dont know when we will write again but soon you can write and they will [ ] direct to Syracuse Morgan [ ] i will write when we stop i must close it is late in the night P H Mark to M M Mark and the rest of the family
