Port Quimby Columbus Ky February the 6th A D 1863 Dear Sir i received your letter and was glad to hear from you. I was on picket guard yesterday and I had a sweet time for it snowed all night and we got as cold as the devil well ned I am glad to hear that you was agoing to get another forlow when you get home tell them that I am all write. I cant hardly write for the boys has got me cramed in one corner of the tent and I am prety ny frose to deth
