Walnut Hill Miss June the 20,, 63 Dear father and mother, It is with the greatest of pleasure that I seat my self to write you a few lines to let you know that we are all well and hope those few lines will find you in good Health We are camped on a high Hill one mile from the rebles. Marks We was in a hundred yards of them but we was relieved and sent back to rest. We had two moths of our wages Pade to us to day we have nealy to months do us now. I have sent you twenty five dolars to day by express. We sent it all together to M. M. Mark so you can go there and pay the express and get it so I will close for I cant Write for I am so nervous no more H Le[illegible]
