Aprile the 6 1864 Dear uncle and ant I take my pen in hand to let you now that i am getting well as fast as i can be expected and the rest of the folks is all well and i hope when these few lines comes to hand they will find you all well i got to letters from peter and harman about two weeks ago and i rote to them and i hant got any letter yet and when i got the letter they was at vicks burg Now they was fifteen miles be low there well uncle managam iam going to send you old general dad thomas opinion about Abriham and the
