Well I cant tell when we will get to come home. Some say we will not get to come home till after the next campaign but I think we will. They are going to evacuate this road from Corinth to Grand Junction. I think by the movements that is going on here and I think thy are a going to repair the Miss. central R.R. From Grand Junction to Jackson Miss and make that place a starting point for the next campaign so as to draw some of the Rebel troop from before Grant. I think Sherman will start from here with a force about the time Gen Grant makes a move on the rebels at Atlanta also Fillmore and Hunter on Charleston and Meade on Lee all at the same time so as not to give them time to reinforce one another between times. I am almost certain that if we are successful in this campaign that it will be the last one of this war that is the general supposition here in the army and the prayer of the soldiers is god smile on us and others more
