To the boys that has volunteered We want all the boys what can to come to our Regiment and our co I would like to have them all to come to our co Boys you will be just as safe as you will be in any new Regt and as soon as you get organized and drilled a little you will come right into the field and then the old Regt that has been cut up will fare the best so you had better come here. I would not ask you to come if I did not think it best but I think it far better to have come here for you all will be needed and I would not ask any man to come against his own will you may be killed as soon as you get into service and you may never see a fight a soldier is in danger all the time. So come along
