sand or swamp but they sure have fine white hard roads about all they raise is cabbages and some very sickly corn. They have some oats and every once in a while we see some gang threshing. We went thru the most of Illinois in the night so I don't know much about it. We are only getting 2 meals per day one at 9:00 and the other at 4:00 but we have all we want to eat we are sure having a swell time but we don't know how long it will last we are going to get off here for exercise so will close.
