3 morning with the exception of an orange at noon. We were stopped at Brooklyn Iowa until 6:00 o'clock. It was a very gloomy and rainy day but there were lots of pretty girls and women there. Mrs Busby a doctors wife sent us down a big lot of peaches and banana's and we sure never will forget her as they didn't feed us very good the first three or four days, as the cooks got drunk before we left Des Moines and succeded in keeping that way the most of the trip. We were only allowed 2 meals per day because we were not exercising very much. I went to bed about 6:30 Sunday night and woke up about 7:30 in the morning just on the edge of
