5 me. There are little brooks or ditches running water right along in front of peoples houses on both sides of the road. We left Buffalo about noon and from then on we sure seen some fine scenery. Great big high hills just covered with fine trees. About fifty miles from Buffalo there is a deep valley with great big sloping sides and about halfway down the slope over the mouth side is D?arville? New York the prettiest town betwwen here and Grand Junction. New Jersey was our next state and it was very rocky, we saw lots of rock quarries or rather marble quarries. There are lots of pines here too. Well I must close for now I will leave you in New Jersey until tomorrow. Your loving son, Harvey
