Friday morning 1917 Dear Mother. The Box got here in fine shape and the cake sure was good and it tasted just like it came from the oven to me. The candy was sure good and my fingers are still sticky from it. The bag is just what I wanted and you sure rushed it through to get here so soon. The strings are find for my business and the letters are alright too. Well it is raining here this morning, the first rain since we have been here and I have taken a bath and washed all my clothes for inspection so I will have lots of time to sleep today. We had a review Wednesday in honor of Gov. Harding and J. N. Darling and Gov. Harding came over into our company street and talked to us
