Friday Nov 9 Camp Merritt New Jersey Dear Eloise I received your fine letter and money last night I was very glad to hear from you and the money was sure appreciated as I only had about 30 cents and I had my watch down in Englewood getting fixed and it was 1.20 so you can see your money came in very handy. I wont need any-more though as we are going to have a pay-day soon. Has any of my allotment money come yet I had $40. on the road some place it should be there by now $20. at least. Our barrack bags were loaded onto freight cars today and tomorrow morning at 6: oclock we get on a train for somewhere in Canada. I think it is Halifax altho I am not sure. We will soon be on our way across I think altho Im not sure as we may
