we got on the train and took about a 36 hour ride and this is where we lit. It is a very fancy looking place all stone houses and the barns and house? all in one building so we dont know whether we are living in a house or a barn. The people wear wooden shoes and dont appear very aristocratic and all they own in the world is a steer or too and an old cow and maybe a horse, and the country ought to make a good battlefield because it dont look much good for anything else. I have just heard that we get some mail today and I am sure pleased
