[Sept. 3, 1917] Monday Morning Dear Dot Received your letter this morning and was glad to hear that Papa and Uncle Ed got home alright. I have not been able to write sooner or I would have. I do not know when we we will leave or anything about it. It is raining here today and so we don't have any work to do. We hod Mass yesterday morning in the Y.M.C.A. and last night I went out to Grandmas and hod a feed. I am going to have to send some of my stuff home as I have to share my trunk with a fellow and I cant take
