[V-mail letterhead] April 8 Dear Dave, Just a note to let you know things are fine here in the 84th--we are busy (mostly trying to find a target to bomb [weve bottom takes it?])--everyone is okay. Have been looking all over France for our [illegible]--couldn't give me his address could you? War news certainly looks good--the "boys" are realy pouring it on. Speaking of the "doughs"--let me be another to support Boyd white and his idea--those tank & infantry boys should get the boosts--they do the work. Sincerely Bill [Brown?]
