except having my pants torn a little at another place a sneaking black devil of a dog came up in the rear & seized me by the leg which brought the blood I tried to kill him with a grub hoe but he made his escape a lady at the next house gave me some spirits of turpentine which took out the soreness it was a great day for dogs
